General hotel information

Basic hotel services:

The actual room rate includes accommodation without meals and the use of the wellness area: outdoor and indoor pools (swimming pool, wellness pool with adventure elements, whirlpool, children's pools), sauna island (infra sauna, Finnish sauna, soft sauna, steam room), and gym.

Our package offers are available with pre-defined service content that always includes half board. The rate of half-board varies from time to time and is specified individually (in the description of the package content) for each package offer.

Taxes:

The prices include VAT, but the tourist tax must be paid separately on the spot:

Booking with a gift voucher:

If you would like to use our hotel voucher, please refer to the voucher number when booking. Reservation can only be made in writing (we cannot accept bookings by phone), and the reservation is only valid if the hotel sent a confirmation about it. We are not able to accept the voucher if its use is not pre-agreed. 

Payment methods:

At our hotel, in addition to cash payment, it is possible to settle the hotel bill by credit card. Please contact our colleagues for information on other payment options.

Please CONTACT our sales colleagues in writing IN CASE OF TRANSFERRING advance payment. If you fail to do so, we cannot guarantee the identification and acceptance of the transferred amount.
During holiday periods, the hotel reserves the right to ask for an advance payment.
In case of prepayment, please indicate the method of payment clearly when booking.

Check-in, checkout:

Our rooms are available to our guests from 15.00 on the day of arrival, and until 11.00 on the day of departure. For a surcharge, our hotel provides an opportunity for early check-in and late checkout, depending on availability. Please contact our hotel in connection with the extension before your arrival, pre-registration is not possible. We kindly inform our guests that the kitchen of our hotel is open until 21.00 every day - if you are likely to arrive later, please inform our staff. 

Cancellation policy / Terms of advance payment:

In each case, the service provider must be informed in writing.  In the case of online booking, if you booked directly on the website of the hotel, cancel your stay by replying to the confirmation you received. If you booked through one of our online partners (booking.com, szallas.hu, szallasvadasz.hu, utazzitthon.hu), cancel your booking on the booking interface of the actual site. 

The cancellation policy applies to individual bookings; in the case of groups, events and conferences the terms and conditions of the contract apply.

Standard terms of cancellation and advance payment:

Services ordered can be cancelled up to 7 days before arrival without having to pay penalty. In case of cancellation within 7 days before arrival, the customer is obliged to pay 50% of the total amount confirmed. 

In case of cancellation on the day of arrival, or in case of late arrival or early departure within the confirmed period of stay, the guest is obliged to pay 100% of the confirmed amount for the entire period booked. 

No advance payment is required.

During the high season, reservations can be cancelled up to 14 days prior to arrival without having to pay penalty. In case of cancellation within 14 days prior to arrival, the customer is required to pay 50% of the total amount confirmed. 

In case of cancellation on the day of arrival, or in case of late arrival or early departure within the confirmed period of stay, the guest is obliged to pay 100% of the confirmed amount for the entire period booked.

No advance payment is required.

In case of booking a holiday package, we offer the opportunity to change or cancel the reservation up to 14 days prior to the arrival without having to pay a penalty. In the event of cancellation within 14 days prior to arrival, the guest is required to pay 100% of the amount confirmed for the entire period of reservation. In case of cancellation within 14 days, the amount of the advance payment will not be refunded and the amount cannot be used. 

Advance payment: An advance payment is required to confirm your booking. Within 5 working days following the booking, 50% of the total amount has to be paid in advance. In case of cancellation within the no-penalty period, the amount paid in advance will not be refunded but, within 6 months, it can be used for covering other accommodation services, which are subject to availability. 

When transferring money, please indicate the guest's name and the reference number of the booking in the message field. The hotel will issue a pro forma invoice of the advance payment, which can be collected at the reception upon arrival. 

The booking cannot be cancelled or modified free of charge. In case of cancellation or no-show, 100% of the total price will be charged as a penalty payment.

Advance payment: An advance payment is required to confirm the booking. 100% of the total amount is payable within 1 day after the booking. In case of cancellation, the advance payment will not be refunded and the amount cannot be used later. In case of early departure or cancellation on the spot, 100% of the amount confirmed for the entire reserved period is payable.

Medieval feast: If you wish to change your pre-ordered Medieval Feast to half board (due to food intolerance or any other illnesses), you have to inform us until 2.00 pm on the day of the programme; in case of changes made after 2.00 pm we charge HUF 1,500 for adults and HUF 1,000 for children as a cancellation fee.

We offer our guests free parking facilities in the parking lot situated in front of the hotel, and upon request, our colleagues are ready to provide information on the conditions of the use of the underground car park. 

One bed reservation:

In case of one-bed reservation (1 paying person in the room) the 70 percent of the double price is charged.
